About the Role:
The Morling Online Administrator role requires someone who is administratively proficient with a high attention to detail and great interpersonal and communication skills.
This part-time, permanent position is currently set at 20 hours per week (with hours preferably set during school hours and spread over 4-5 days each week), with the possibility of increased hours in the future. This position is based in Sydney (at our Macquarie Park campus) with the potential for some flexibility to be negotiated after the 3-month probation period.
The remuneration for the role will be based on the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award classification General Staff, level 4.1. The salary will be set above the award rate at $57,315.39 per annum (pro-rata to 0.526 FTE – $30,147.89 per annum).
This is an exciting opportunity as our fast-growing Morling Online team is in development. There is a possibility of combining this role with a role in our Student Services team involving student support, CRM management (i.e., Salesforce), and student communications. Key Responsibilities:
- Moodle administration, including setting up subjects, arranging content, and enrolling students.
- Curation and preparation of online study readings and resources.
- Providing basic Moodle support (e.g., enquires) to students.
- Other administrative support as required.
- Participation in the life of the College.
Essential Key Attributes (please respond to all these attributes in your Cover Letter):
- Experience in Moodle and online learning environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Demonstrated Christian character and active involvement in a local evangelical church.
- Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission and Christian ethos of Morling College.

- Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills (including email, phone, and face to face communication skills).
- Organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage long-term projects.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience with Photoshop, Turnitin, and Zoom.
- Experience in Educational administration.
- Experience with Salesforce.
