The Church Consultancy ministry is an officially endorsed ministry of the Association of Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT, accountable to the Associate Director of Church Development.
Church Consultancy ministry, has proven to be a very effective and proactive church health strategy for our family of churches. Introduced in 1999, we have seen more than 130 churches involved in consultancies, with very positive feedback from pastors and Church leaders.
It is said that “healthy churches are growing churches” and thus the more proactive we can be as churches in promoting congregational health the better we will be in our shared mandate to impact our communities for Jesus.
A Church Consultancy is an intentional process in which a church leadership enters into an agreement with trained and approved consultants, with the commitment of working together for the benefit of the local Church.
There are a number of different types of consultancies available to Churches through the consultancy ministry. These include:
- Conflicted Congregation (Crisis Intervention)
- Church Planting
- Moral Failure (Crisis Intervention)
- Intentional Church Review (between pastoral settlements)
- Team – Leadership Review and/or Pastoral Team Review
Should you wish to discuss the type of consultancies available in more detail please do not hesitate to contact Rev Ian Altman on 0412 682 819 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Regional Ministers will also be able to assist with initial enquiries regarding church consultancies.
