Insights – November

Insights, the next iteration of the Live Q&A is a monthly time of information, connection and inspiration. We’ll still be delivering the latest COVID-19 updates, but we’ll also be diving deeper into different areas of Leadership, Health, Mission and Justice across each 1-hour session. Allowing each session to become an Insight into one of these areas.

Insights will take place on a monthly basis through Zoom and will kick off on 17 November at 1pm. When we have events like The Gathering and our Annual Assembly or Leadership Conversations we will skip those months to make it easier for you to engage in Association-wide events. We’re even looking to bring in some experts to help with Insights topics.

Our November Insights will be the last one for the year so make sure to put this time aside in your diaries.

**Insights will not take place in April or July due as other Association’s events will take place in these months**

What topics will we be exploring?

In our November Insights, we will be joined by the Association’s Evangelism Consultant Belinda Lakelin who will be sharing about Plan A is for Advent. She will be looking at how we can engage our congregations in a discipleship and evangelism way this Christmas season. We’ll also hear from Steve Bartlett with the latest COVID-19 updates and you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions about COVID-19 restrictions. 

Who is Insights for?

Insights is for any leader within your church. This means the obvious leaders like Pastors (Senior, Executive, Associate etc), but it also extends to leaders outside of pastoral ministry (Secretaries, Treasurers, Elders etc). You may also choose to use this as a leadership development tool for people you see leadership potential in.

How do I register?

Registration is made available here on the Association’s website. By clicking the register here button (located at the bottom of this page) you will be directed to the registration form. You will need to register for each month you would like to attend. Once registered you will be sent the Zoom meeting information including the access link. Please make sure to securely store this email to make accessing the meeting a smoother process. If you have any issues with the registration process or do not get sent the Zoom meeting information please email hello@nswactbaptists.org.au.
