An update from the IMPACT program

IMPACT Growth is designed to help young adults deepen their faith, grow in character, and explore their calling.

IMPACT Growth runs over a year through online learning, mentoring, and shared experiences.

This year’s cohort has hit the ground running. So far, participants have explored:

• Self-management and healthy rhythms

• Spiritual gifts and serving in the body of Christ

• Advocacy and action as part of a faith that engages the world (with help from our good friends at Baptist World Aid)

They’ve also taken part in a guided spiritual retreat day, and we’re now preparing for our first in-person Weekend Away—a key time of community, worship, and reflection. Later this year, we will explore what it looks like to live out your faith in our secular world, stewardship and budgeting, and get together for a weekend of urban ministry experiences.

This July, a group of young adults will take part in IMPACT Adventure—a cross-cultural trip to Cambodia. This program gives young adults the opportunity to partner with local ministries, experience the global church, and be challenged in how they live out their faith in a very different context.

We’re seeing real spiritual growth and a hunger for purpose in this generation. It’s encouraging to witness young adults being discipled in a way that’s both grounded in Scripture and deeply practical for today’s world.
