LeadUp is a two-day training event at Kiah Ridge specifically designed for those not serving in Senior/Sole pastor roles (Assoc. Pastors, Children & Families Pastors, Youth Pastors, Exec Pastors, Paid Admin Staff, etc.)

Running from June 2-3, LeadUp 2025 will focus on ‘The Art Of Listening’ and will equip participants to be attentive to God and others.
Together we will explore:

• Discerning what God’s saying to me/us
• The God Who Hears
• Listening Well to Others
• The Shadow of Listening – should you respond to everything you hear?
• Who is Speaking Into My Life?

and many more other experiences and activities that make LeadUp a calendar priority.

Our facilitators will include the Baptist Association GEN1K Leadership Development Team alongside Emmah Makuthi & Mark Chapple from Greater West for Christ & Kieran Degan from Narrabeen Baptist.

We are creating a space for you to experience creativity, stillness, inspiration, challenge and encouragement in a beautiful environment with delicious food and outstanding company.

Talk with your Senior Pastor about you attending this retreat as part of your ongoing professional development – we are sure the input will pay dividends for your church.

While we will not have coaching sessions on site this year, we will be offering 1 free coaching session after LeadUp to all participants, online or in person – more details at retreat.

There will be an opportunity to meet in your ministry streams together & we will also be listening to hear from you and answering some of your questions. Plus we have created multiple spaces to think through the application of ministry context in real life.
