Sunnybank District Baptist Church (SDBC) is looking for an Associate Pastor with a focus towards children & families ministries.
Established in 1957 SDBC is an exciting contemporary, Christ centred, Bible teaching Church working with God to transform people into passionate followers of Jesus Christ. SDBC is committed to prayer and to local and overseas missions. It is a large Church with an average weekly attendance of 655. Fully staffed, the Church has five pastors plus auxiliary staff. Our congregations are culturally diverse with three English, one Mandarin and one Cantonese service every Sunday.
We have a large existing foundation in our Children & Family Ministries. These include but are not limited to Kids’ Church, Youth Group, Brigades, Playgroup, Mums’ Meet Up, Kids Club and annual Family camp. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to build on the foundation SDBC has in the community now and into the future. We are ready to welcome a full-time associate pastor with a heart for ministry, desire to disciple the next generation and willingness to preach the gospel.
The applicant must have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and be passionate about intergenerational ministry. The successful applicant must be willing to be registered as a Pastor with Queensland Baptist.
