We are looking for a creative and innovative content creator to join our Sydney-based Marketing team on a permanent part-time basis.

About Us:

Morling College (MC) is a registered Higher Education Provider with campuses in NSW and WA that offer biblically grounded, quality education and training. About the Role:

  • Creating, developing, and distributing compelling and high-quality content that inspires and encourages prospective students to enrol.
  • Collaborating with different teams to develop and execute content strategies while tracking analytics to improve these strategies.
  • The role is 15.2 hours/week (0.4 FTE).
  • Remuneration: $27,915.52/annum, excluding Superannuation.

Key Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter):


  • Formal qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field desirable.
  • Formal qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field desirable.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience with content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Experience with Facebook and Instagram content creation, including aspect ratios, best practices, and consumption habits.
  • Experience using drag-and-drop design software like Canva.
  • Proven strong copywriting skills.
  • Experience in using the Salesforce Engagement (Pardot) platform or a desire to learn.
  • Experience in similar Marketing or Content Creation roles desired.
  • Basic familiarity with SEO advantageous.
  • Experience with Facebook and Instagram Ads advantageous.
  • Video editing skills, i.e., experience using Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Rush, Capcut, or a comparative video editing software desirable.
  • Previous experience in the Higher Education sector and/or complex organisations desired.

  • Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.
  • Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (, and Christian ethos of Morling College.
  • Creative and innovative mindset for the creation of new ideas.
  • Data-driven and analytical to inform social media strategy.
  • Able to work independently and with minimum supervision while also capable of working collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills when under pressure, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task to ensure the successful completion of all responsibilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
