As Residential Services Officer, located next to Macquarie University in Sydney, you’ll be part of a caring and versatile team committed to providing a safe, supportive, and vibrant living environment for university students.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused role, and is available to work over 3-4 days, 16 hours/week including evening work.

As Residential Services Officer, you will:
- Respond to enquiries, bookings, front-desk duties, and ensure a positive visitor experience.
- Assist with MRC events, support meals, and coffee mornings.
- Assist with guest enquiries, bookings, payments, housekeeping, and facility care.
- Contribute to newsletters, digital and print materials, and website and social media content.
- Build relationships with residents, provide basic first aid, and help identify wellbeing concerns.
Essential Attributes:
- Experience/skills in administration and customer service, hospitality or events role.
- Current First Aid and Mental Health First Aid Certification (or working towards).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
- Team player with a flexible, adaptable approach to responsibilities.
- IT and computer skills (including Microsoft Office, knowledge of finance systems or StarRez is desirable).
- Demonstrated Christian character and active involvement in a local church.
- Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission and Christian ethos of Morling College.
Desirable Attributes:
- Skilled at improving systems and processes to enhance customer experience.
Awareness of cultural differences in relation to community and residential life.
