NewHope Baptist Church is a healthy and growing church, with 3 local church communities in the suburbs of northwest Sydney. Just over 40% of our church are under the age of 18, with a rapidly growing young adult demographic also. We are passionate about living our our core values and have a strong culture of championing the next generations.

Ministry growth has brought us to the place where we are seeking a person called and suitable to serve as the Next Generations Coordinator for our Kellyville and Norwest Communities.

The Next Generation Coordinator will lead our kids, youth and young adult ministries at Kellyville and Norwest, growing and developing the leaders and teams for outreach and discipleship in these demographics. There is also a school chaplaincy component to this role – 5 hours/week in Kellyville Public School and 7 hours/week in Kellyville High School (during school terms). The successful applicant will need a minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Pastoral Care or Chaplaincy (or a similar field), with completed units in “making referrals” and “responding to mental health needs”.

Ministry Title: Next Generations Coordinator – Kellyville and Norwest

Weekly Hours: 27 hrs/week (inc. 12-hrs/week chaplaincy during school terms)

Salary: $50,256 p.a. + superannuation
