The Pastoral Administrative Assistant role involves providing administrative support to the pastoral team and ensuring that the office runs smoothly and professionally. The role also includes specific responsibilities for various projects and tasks, such as maintaining databases, legal documentation, records, and the content of the Centre’s website, as well as overseeing events. As the first point of contact, the Pastoral Administrative Assistant is responsible for welcoming and assisting all visitors to the office. •
Requirements
• Experience in administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer competence.
• A proven ability to operate both in a team environment and accountability to a team leader.
• Take initiative and work independently but co-operatively and collaboratively in a team.
• Maturity in personality and willingness to work within the ethos and values of The Centre
• Events coordination experience.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
• Well-developed administration and coordination skills, and a capacity to manage competing priorities.
• High capacity to maintain confidentiality.
• A personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and regular attendance at a Christian church (or willingness to be part of The Centre’s worship community.
