Children’s Worker

Wagga Wagga Baptist Church is seeking a Children’s Worker to join our team.

We are looking for someone who:

·        Displays an active, growing faith in Christ Jesus, participating in the life of the church.

·        Has a passion for seeing children come to know Jesus and grow as disciples.

·        Can effectively recruit, train, lead and coordinate volunteer teams.

·        Is committed to and adheres to safe church policies.

The purpose of this position is to:

·        Oversee and coordinate ministries of Wagga Wagga Baptist Church to children and their families.

·        See children encounter Jesus, grow as disciples and be integrated into the life of the church community.

·        Partner with parents and church leadership in the equipping of families for discipleship of children.

·        Nurture a church culture where children are valued and included.

Position details

·        Part-time (20hrs) per week.

·        Remuneration in line with NSW/ACT Baptist Association guidelines for a “Non-Accredited Minister – Worker” and is dependant upon years of experience.
