It is a vibrant town with wide streets and many cafes and boutique shops for you to explore.

OUR CHURCH
Wingham Baptist Church was planted from Taree Baptist Church in 1992 and started in the CWA building in the main street. Sometime later the current site, originally a sawmill, was purchased and converted into our church. Over the years we have seen the property grow with the addition of a demountable office, a bitumen car park, solar power, a huge timber deck, a new kitchen, new floor coverings, external tables with bench seats and a children’s playground.
We are a small church with the Sunday service attended by an average congregation of 46 people, however we believe we punch above our weight in our ministries which include playgroup, Kids Club, Welcome Place (for the older), the Wingham Farmers market held on our property, prayer meetings, mission support, Bible Study groups, the local KYB group and this year we become a flood crisis centre to support local flood victims.
Our commitment to Christ gives us the foundation for caring for, and serving, our local community. Our care for the community reveals and reflects our commitment to Christ. Jesus said that he ‘did not come to be served but to serve’ (Matt 20:28 NIV). This is what we believe and strive for.
