Rev Dr Steve Bartlett – Director of Ministries for the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT is very pleased to announce that Rev Jamie Freeman will be commencing in the role of Church Planting Facilitator with our Association on 13th September. Jamie will move into this role after Steve vacated it recently to assume the Director of Ministries role.
The Church Planting Facilitator is responsible for championing our Association’s focus on pioneering work as part of our overall Gen1K Vision, supporting planters and churches and taking the initiative in encouraging the commencement of new work. Jamie has firsthand experience as a church planter, having led the pioneering of H3O church (one of our Baptist churches at Dee Why) a number of years ago. Prior to this, he pastored at Gymea Baptist Church. It will be great to welcome Jamie to the BMC team.
Until Jamie commences, enquiries to our Association regarding church planting can still be directed to Steve Bartlett.
