FRIENDS OF GLOBAL INTERACTION
Carol Stewart, Director
Friends of Global Interaction NSW/ACT (colloquially known as “Friends”) ministers to our Global Interaction staff and candidates prayerfully, financially, personally and via projects and helping to meet unexpected personal and ministry needs, etc. Each meeting features one of our intercultural workers on home assignment, or one of our candidates preparing to go, either in person or by Zoom.
We work very closely with our NSW Global Interaction state office. At present we have six regional and suburban support groups of passionate prayers and givers, serving as senders to all our NSW staff. Representatives from these groups form a state executive, meeting five times per year, including an AGM held at the Ministry and Learning Centre. ‘Friends’ is unique in our country, but we have a vision for growing our movement and aim to expand nationally.
