In 2020 the Operations Team focused on supporting our administrators in churches due to the increase in complexity of compliance caused by COVID-19 (in particular around JobKeeper obligations) in addition to the usual finance, administration, compliance, insurance, governance, reporting and renumeration taxation issues.
During the year demand for Balance Ministry Services, led by Sylvia Groves continued to increase as churches sought support with bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, reporting and general church advice. GODSPACE
2020 was a difficult year for GodSpace users with SRE/RI teachers being out of the classroom for a time due to COVID 19 restrictions. We continued to support SRE/RI by providing approved resources on our website for students to use at home and additional GodSpace lesson for teachers to provide a space for students to discuss their concerns on their return to school.
During the year we commenced a journey to refresh GodSpace. This continues in 2021. Our vision is to develop a quality and engaging SRE/RI resource which is relevant in today’s teaching environment so that students discover the hope and love of Jesus in ways that make sense to them. Your prayer support for this endeavour is crucial and we are deeply thankful for it.
