Recently the Association of Baptist Churches invested in a professionally designed visual identity. The response to the changed identity has been very positive.
The key concern in the logo development was to reintroduce the Cross into our identity. This universally accepted image for christianity represents the sole reason for our ministry… Christ. However the logo goes further to communicate that it is our role, as the church, to reveal Christ to the world through word, sign and deed; empowered, led and preempted by the Holy Spirit. This is true for the Association (the association of churches, together, reveal Christ) and the local church (the people in the church, together, reveal Christ).
The logo colouring is bright and positive and allows for the different colours to be used to further communicate vision. The Baptist Association will use the logo colours to identify key aspects of its vision across various channels. For example The gold/yellow will be used in all imagery for community, discipleship and personal/church transformation, blue/purple for leadership development, light blue/green for mission, evangelism & church planting and magenta/dark pink for justice; both locally and internationally.
