Bible Based Baptist Church in the Northern Rivers
We are keen to encourage a godly Christian man seeking Ministry experience / interested in pursuing formal Training / Pastoral work in partnership with a Bible based Baptist Church in Ballina, NSW. (e.g Mt 28:18-20; Eph 2:1-10; 1 Tim 3; 1 Pet 5; 2 Tim 3:10-4:8; 1 Cor 3; 2 Cor 4).
Ballina and surrounds is a wonderful part of NSW with a great need for God’s Gospel to be proclaimed and His powerful and sufficient word taught, so that by God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit, families and thus the next generation might become true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and thus equipped to serve in and through God’s Church for His glory (Eph 3:20-21).
The particular ministry role would have a focus on developing family ministry in partnership with our Pastoral Leadership and members of the Church, whereby we seek to Reach out with and Build up parents in the Gospel and in their shepherding of their children as well as developing our Sunday children’s ministry to compliment this focus. Opportunities for involvement in Sunday leading, preaching, music ministry as well as teaching Bible Studies and gaining experience in other aspects of Pastoral ministry would also be provided.
This a Part Time role (across 2 days – Sunday & another day of the week) and would suit someone open to pursuing Theological / Ministry Studies in concert with practical experience or someone who has already started or concluded initial Ministry Training but would consider furthering that while up in the Northern Rivers. We are keen to ensure the Internship fits the personal situation and ministry experience of a suitable candidate.
Applicants need to commit to complying with all Safe Church and Ministry Code Requirements of the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT for this type of role.
