The pastor of the Woolloomooloo Baptist Church works in partnership with Baptist Care’s Hope Street. The pastor serves the community in one of the neediest parts of the inner city of Sydney. Woolloomooloo has a significant homeless population and a large public housing community.

The church and Hope Street provides community, support, resources, care, spiritual guidance and more to those living there. The role of pastor, in partnership with Baptist Care, is full time, but one day a week requires contributions from supporters for this ministry to be adequately resourced and continue.

Because of the type of role this is, it qualifies to be paid through the Baptist Association of NSW and ACT Benevolent Fund, which is tax deductible.
