We are looking for a part-time Student Services Officer to join our Perth campus for 4 days/week. Join us in equipping God’s people for ministry!

About the Role:

  • Work within the Student Services team to support current students in academic progression, wellbeing, and proactive care.
  • Engage in student retention strategies, including outreach and follow-ups.
  • Work within the Future Student Services team to oversee future student enquiries, applications, and engagement across all faculties.
  • Assist with the scholarship and financial assistance process.
  • Provide administrative (e.g., reception where necessary) and event (e.g., graduation, open days/nights) support.
  • The role is 30.4 hours/week (4 days/week).
  • Remuneration: $62,881.70/annum (excl. Super) pro-rated to $50,305.36/annum.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor, higher-level degree, or other significant period of study in a relevant field.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience in student services, future student engagement, or admissions in a post-secondary educational setting.
  • Experience in customer services or support.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Understanding of theological education and academic policies.
  • Use of Salesforce as a CRM tool (does not have to be in an educational setting) desirable.

Skills, Character, and Qualities:

  • Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.
  • Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (https://tinyurl.com/mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, particularly in managing student records, applications, and compliance processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills (including digital, phone, and face to face communication skills).
