We’re seeking a passionate and committed Youth Ministry Coordinator to lead and grow our youth ministry at TCBC. This role provides operational leadership of TCBC Youth and Gear Up, supporting the Associate Pastor in providing vision, direction, and pastoral oversight. Our heart is to see young lives transformed through Christ-centred community.
Primary Purpose
The Youth Ministry Coordinator will lead and disciple young people by building a strong, Christ-focused youth ministry, equipping leaders, and creating spaces where youth can encounter Jesus and grow in faith.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the teams for TCBC Youth (Friday nights) and Gear Up (Sunday mornings).
- Recruit, equip, and encourage youth leaders and mentors.
- Prepare and deliver Bible-based teaching for youth programs, camps, and outreach events.
- Provide pastoral care for youth and leaders, alongside the Associate Pastor.
- Assist in evangelistic and outreach opportunities (e.g. Brekky Club, Revive).
- Partner with children’s and young adult leaders to ensure smooth transitions between ministries.
- Participate in wider church leadership and pastoral team responsibilities.

- Can build and equip teams with encouragement and care.
- Is committed to safe, Christ-centred ministry.
