An opportunity that will have a lasting impact.

Your plan is to thrive not just survive in ministry. We know to live and lead well requires some intentional times of development. LeadUp  is a space for those serving in the staff team of NSW and ACT Baptist Churches but who are not the senior or lead pastor to make that investment into their leadership.

This year the theme is The Art of Listening. Our time together will include wisdom and input from other leaders, opportunities for connection and sharing, space for reflection and considering the next steps in leadership development for you and those you lead.

Together we will explore:

  • Discerning what God’s saying to me/us
  • The God Who Hears
  • Listening well to Others
  • The Shadow of Listening – should you respond to everything you hear?
  • Who is speaking into my life?

and many more other experiences and activities that make LeadUp a calendar priority.

Our facilitators will include the Baptist Association GEN1K Leadership Development Team alongside some experienced leaders from our own Baptist Churches.

Registrations include:

  • Shared accommodation at Kiah Ridge
  • Meals provided (Morning Tea Monday – Lunch Tuesday)
  • All sessions and resources

Note: For those travelling longer distances, or those who want to stay an extra night. Overnight accommodation for Sunday night is available at Kiah Ridge (BYO Breakfast or short trip into Tahmoor),  for an extra charge of $30. Please choose the early arrival ticket as well as normal registration.

Make an investment today that will impact your future leadership.
