This website is owned and operated by the Baptist Association of NSW and ACT (ABN 24 941 624 663 legal entity name Baptist Union of NSW). Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Association website https://nswactbaptists.org.au/. Please check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms and Conditions. By using the Association website, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Your Privacy
Your Privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we’ll use your information. By using this Website, you consent to the processing described therein and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
Intellectual property and content
The Association owns or has permission to use the intellectual property rights in its website and its content. You may store, print and display the content supplied solely for your own personal use. You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on this website nor may you use any such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise without express written consent from us.
Terms of sale
Placing an order
When you place an order on our website, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. If you cannot find this email, please check your junk email folders and let us know if it has not been received by emailing us hello@nswactbaptists.org.au . It will be assumed by the Association that this has been received when the order is made and will act as a proof of purchase. We only accept and dispatch your order once payment has been made by debiting your credit card or when payment has been received in our nominated bank account.
Returns and refunds
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@nswactbaptists.org.au.
Faulty Goods
You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for any faulty goods. If you think that there is a fault with the goods you have received, please let us know straight away by contacting us at hello@nswactbaptists.org.au
Use of Promotional Coupons
The use of coupons is at the discretion of the Association and can be removed, revoked adjusted or declined at any time. Coupons obtained through non approved means; improper use non authorised sharing will be considered invalid.
Unless otherwise stated only one voucher can be used for each order.
Coupons can only be used for online purchases through nswactbaptists.org.au.
Coupons for dollar amount discount can only be used on orders above the coupon value and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit beyond the transaction in which it is used.
Vouchers will have expiry dates that will be listed within these terms and conditions below where relevant and cannot be used or redeemed after these dates.
Coupons will be sent and considered received by customers within 2 business days. Only customers that request resupply within this time are eligible to have coupon resupplied. Loss of coupon code is the responsibility of the Customer.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions.
Payment currency
All transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
Donations and Refunds
Baptist Association of NSW and ACT is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission.
By completing a donation you:
- are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and our privacy policy.
- understand you can cease communication, or access and change your personal information by emailing us at hello@nswactbaptists.org.au.
Our online giving site provides official tax-deductible receipts for approved donations of $2.00 or more.
Donations
Once you have made your selection you will be guided through the payment process. The method of payment on the web site is by credit card. We do not capture or store your credit card details, only the authority from our bank that your credit card payment has been approved. If you authorise a recurring donation, your credit card details are stored by our payment processor in accordance with payment card industry standards.
We keep a record in our database of the donor’s name, church (if applicable), address, email, telephone, and amount donated. Our database is protected by secure user IDs and passwords, to help protect it from unauthorised access. For more details on the collection and use of data, please see our privacy policy.
Refunds
Gifts that are tax deductible will not be refunded in accordance with the ATO’s definition of ‘gifts’. The Association is under no obligation to provide a refund for gifts but will endeavour to rectify genuine errors in accordance with the following principles:
- Should an error be identified, the donor should contact the Association as soon as possible, preferably within 30 days but no more than 90 days, from the date the gift was received, to make a request for refund.
- All requests should be made in writing to hello@nswactbaptists.org.au.
- All requests will be examined and approved at the Association’s discretion. A refund must be approved by the Associate Director – Operations before it can be processed.
- If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer valid and should be securely destroyed. Please note it is your responsibility to submit correct receipts to the ATO.
Linking to this Website
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you.

If we link to other websites, we take no responsibility for the content of, and make no representations as to the accuracy of any third-party websites we may link to from this website.

The material displayed on this website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy.
