We’re only 3 weeks away from The Gathering Incorporating the Ordinary Assembly on 8 November! This is your opportunity to be part of a pivotal day of worship, connection and encouragement from multiple venues across NSW and the ACT. Together, we’ll celebrate how God is moving through our movement — and explore how we can build on that momentum into the future.

At the Gathering we will be hearing a devotion from Badil Oweis, pastor of Graceway Church, live worship unique to each venue, a presentation by Sam Sterland from the National Church Life Survey on the theme “An Increased Openness to Faith?” with insights from recent research and a panel discussion exploring current cultural shifts and the emerging opportunities they present for ministry.

There will also be an update regarding the National Redress Scheme for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings and following lunch there will be a business session addressing 2 recommendations from Assembly Council regarding 2 affiliated churches. Documentation regarding these recommendations will be available online no later than Friday 25 October.
