The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Pastor. This full-time role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire and guide high-school-aged youth, helping them grow in their faith and become active members of our church family. The Youth Pastor will develop and oversee the Riverlife Youth Ministry, fostering personal relationships, leading weekly programs, Life Groups, and coordinating impactful events. Your mission will be to create a welcoming environment where young people can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and build lasting relationships within our church community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visionary Leadership: Cast and carry out a compelling vision for the Youth Ministry that engages and inspires both youth and volunteers.
- Program Development: Regularly assess and enhance the discipleship and outreach programs to ensure they are relevant, engaging, and effective.
- Youth Engagement: Build personal relationships with youth, ensuring they are pastorally cared for and supported in their spiritual journey.
- Volunteer Development: Invest in the spiritual growth and leadership potential of volunteers, equipping them to serve effectively in the Youth Ministry.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a vibrant Youth Core Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, support, and growth.
- Church Involvement: Participate in broader church activities as directed by the Family Pastor or Senior Pastor, contributing to the overall mission and vision of Riverlife Baptist Church.
