Renewal Retreats
A Renewal Retreat is the perfect way to provide some structured self-care, to build your support networks, to journey with others in ministry, to fulfil your professional development requirements.
Renewal Retreats are an opportunity for pastors and spouses of pastors to be renewed for ministry through a focused retreat process. Participants join a group of 7-10 others on a journey encompassing Personal, Relational and Structural renewal.
Groups meet annually with the retreat being between 4-5days and at least one other day to catch up with each other. These ‘catch up’ days are negotiated by the group. Retreats generally include a combination of focused self-reflection, discussion and input. A retreat group has two co-facilitators who help guide its operation. Each retreat group decides how it will operate within a broad framework. After a cycle of three years, groups aim to recruit new members and form two new groups.
The leadership and operation of the Renewal Retreats is completely operated by its members. No one is paid. There is an oversight group who coordinate the network. Their names are below. Please feel free to contact any of them if you have a question about Renewal Retreats. For general enquiries please contact renewalretreatcontact@gmail.com.
