About the Role

As our Library Technician, you will:

• Deliver high-quality library services and support to students and staff.
• Manage the MC Collection (e.g., monographs, local print serials, eBook Central) in collaboration with library staff.
• Maintain and improve library systems.
• Assist with general administrative, reception, event, and organisational tasks.
• Work 4 days/week (Monday to Thursday

• Experience in library operations including cataloguing, client services, and familiarity with library-specific technologies and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to embrace a culture of shared evangelical conviction and gracious, respectful disagreement on other matters.
• Involvement in a local evangelical church and demonstrated Christian character.
• Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (https://tinyurl.com/mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.

Desirable Attributes:

• ALIA-accredited TAFE Diploma Course in Library and Information Services or an equivalent/ or higher qualification.
• Familiarity with theology as a subject area.
