Our Operations Team supports our local Baptist Churches in relation to finance, administration, property, compliance, insurance, governance, reporting, remuneration, taxation issues and much more. Operations also includes GodSpace, our primary school SRE curriculum, and Balance Ministry Services.
During the last year our Operations group has been supporting our Gen1K vision, investing into our leaders, creating healthy churches and increasing our capacity in preparation for growth in our next season. We have continued to equip our churches through our Church Leaders Playbook, which includes a newsletter and training sessions. In 2024 have continued the consolidation of our funds for efficiency and to assist in mobilising resources for strategic initiatives. Consequently, we continue on our land banking journey for future church plants and the consolidation of our resources.
In 2024 we continued to invest in technology to streamline processes and achieve enhanced CRM and database management. This is directly improving the overall support which the Association provides to our churches, pastors and leaders.
Property is key to our Gen1K goal, so together with our Property Advisory Group we continue to work towards developing and providing support to our property strategies. This group is actively supporting our Association in ensuring we are well placed for the future by thinking through and actioning our property related needs.

Tammy Earnshaw / Team Leader - GodSpace
2024, was the final year in the first cycle in our updated innovative GodSpace curriculum. During that year, thousands of students in classrooms across Australia continued to question, explore, and discover the character of God through the GodSpace curriculum.
We continue to see increased interest and engagement with the GodSpace curriculum in SRE/RI classrooms and Christian Schools. In 2025, GodSpace Green will aim to take students on a journey to discover who God is, how they can be part of his plan and what he is doing in the world.
GodSpace is committed to providing a relevant and engaging curriculum for all students from all walks of life. The positive feedback we receive encourages and inspires our curriculum team to provide even more innovative and engaging resources for students. We are excited to hear that teachers find using the GodSpace curriculum makes planning time more efficient and makes it easy for the children to question and explore the faith stories and concepts and apply this learning in their own lives. Students continue to request more Goober videos and this year we have also added some Bible memory verse online games.
“I thoroughly commend the work that has been done on preparing the new GodSpace materials. I’m an experienced classroom teacher who now teaches SRE as well. I teach in an environment where sometimes students struggle with engagement. The materials are excellent! I love the fact that it is all online so for me there is no more fussing with hard copy manuals or disks. Praise God for technology and a great team at GodSpace!”

We have continued to support our 2000 teachers with regular training events, equipping them to use the curriculum effectively as they share their faith journey with children in schools.
GodSpace has also continued to send our excess GodSpace books each year to churches in the Philippines where children connect with the GodSpace curriculum at their annual Vacation Bible School.
In a time where there is so much conflict and division in our world creating much anxiety for children, we are thankful for the teachers who volunteer their time to go into classrooms and teach with the GodSpace curriculum to help students further understand the love and mercy of Jesus. They give students a reason to hope for a better future in their own lives and the community around them.
Although we are only a small team, we somehow manage to review, print, upload and ship the GodSpace resources each year as well as provide effective customer service and ongoing training support. We acknowledge that we would not be able to do this without God’s provision and the ongoing encouragement and prayer support from our faith community.
The GodSpace team is grateful to God for his provision, wisdom, and guidance as we continue the work he has set before us.
