About Us:

About the Role:

  • Provides a warm, efficient, and accurate reception service, incl. responding to email, phone, and face-to-face enquiries.
  • Responsible for key processes such as EFTPOS payments, cash management, room bookings, maintaining corporate spaces, ordering as required, mail processes and maintaining notice boards.
  • Assisting the team with pre- and post-event set up and pack down.
  • Catering support for events.
  • Remuneration: $33.98/hour (incl. Casual loading; excl. Super)

Key Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter):

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in reception, concierge, or customer service.
  • A relevant post-secondary qualification is desirable.
  • Current First Aid Certification is desired but not essential.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Strong software competence, including Microsoft and Google software and platforms.
  • Experience in cashier transactions is desirable.
  • Experience with coordinating event bookings desired.

Skills, Character, and Qualities:

  • Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.
  • Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (https://tinyurl.com/mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.
  • Proven organisation and time management skills.
  • Professional and warm written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with various teams and organisations to achieve goals.
  • Ability to remain poised when under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Administratively minded and able to display flexibility in the accountability of duties.
  • Desire to serve others and meet the needs of visitors.
